TOGETHER WE GROW - TEMECULA
This project was for the new Together We Grow school for children with developmental challenges in Temecula, CA. This was a massive project. It took 4 month to complete. It was 9 large rooms all with different themes, with different landscapes and animals. I was given ideas and was given free license to do bring it to life in the way that I saw worked best. This was an amazing creative project, that I could really sink my teeth into.
This project was for a new car dealership in Oceanside, CA. The intention was to improve the client experience as they were waiting for paperwork to go through. We took the imagery of Triton, the God of the Sea, and the Kraken to bring a fun and interactive mural that spread the experience throughout the office and the buying process.
This was a spray painting project at the Nasty Gal headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. They wanted a soft fade element to the whole piece, so spray paints were the answer.
This is a mandala featuring dolphins and the flower of life.
This was a project on the interior of a building where a youth group is held there once a week. They provided the design, I applied it to the garage style door. Very cool project.
TREE SAN DIEGO SOLAR KILN
This piece was for Tree San Diego. This is a solar kiln used to dry lumber.
This was the final mural for the interior office space at Modsy. We depicted Portland, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and Charlotte, all cities where Modsy has offices. We also included the company's core values into the image to show who they are.
This project is in the employee lounge at the Sony Playstation HQ in San Diego, CA. It was a multimedia collaboration between me and a friend who did laser wood cut elements that we attached to the wall mural. It works well from distance and up close.
WOODSTOCK 50TH BUS
This bus is part of the documentary premier event going along with a documentary based on the 50 year anniversary of Woodstock. The painting involves flowers, butterflies, instruments, musicians, a flare of psychedelia, and peace, love and music.
DESIGNERS OF THE CLASSIC I
This project is at a startup in San Francisco called Modsy. The company is based on helping clients design their living spaces. We went with portraits of classic designers in the field to help teach people about the history of the field.
DESIGNERS OF THE CLASSIC II
This is the second project in the series at Modsy. These projects were great for me because it gave me the opportunity to showcase my love of portraits. The clients loved how everything turned out and how it blends their business into the art.
This project was for the back patio remodel that was done at DaVanti Enoteca in San Diego, CA. DaVanti is an Italian restaurant in the heart of Little Italy in San Diego. The concept was to depict Sophia Loren and the owner's daughter Sophia, and for them to be surrounded by old weathered and torn Italian posters giving the mural both a modern and classic Italian appeal.
THE TUSCAN CASTLE
This is The Tuscan Castle at a pediatric day health care center in San Diego, CA. It’s in the entrance room and the main hallways stretching down the length of the building. The concept is to have a comprehensive experience of a Tuscan castle as you make your way through. It starts by seeing if from a distance, getting closer, walking into it and then through it.
THE OCEAN ROOM
This is the Ocean Room at a pediatric day health care center in San Diego, CA. It's a room for the really little ones there. The clients wanted lots of sea animals looking happy, nothing scary in any way. I made sure all the animals looked great with smiles all around.
DREAMS OF REALITY
This piece is a surrealistic view of the harbor in San Diego, CA. The mural is located on the East side of the I-5 freeway overlooking the city, the airport, the naval base and the bay. The image is a dreamlike vision of landscape with deeper conceptual ideas of an alternative reality.
The concept of this mural is a blending of two ideas: the solar system, and the animal kingdom. It's a surrealistic abstraction of the two concepts that lead to the overall style and look of the piece. This mural talks about the connection that is shared by all life on this planet.
